Tucked away in Dundalk, The Village Rooms exceeded our expectations - a cozy haven with a rich history above a charming pub run by the welcoming owners, Con and Niamh. The fully equipped kitchen, comfortable living room, and private bathroom made for a perfect retreat after exploring the nearby Jumping Church of Kildemock. The continental breakfast was a delightful touch, fueling us for a day of hiking in the picturesque surroundings. The proximity to Dublin Airport made our travels seamless, and the free WiFi kept us connected. Our daughter's upcoming wedding in Blackrock has us already planning a return stay for the bridal party to prepare in style amidst the top-quality amenities and warm atmosphere.Con's hospitality and the village's friendly vibe truly made us feel at home. The blend of old-world charm and modern comforts, from the fully equipped kitchen to the flat-screen TV, created a memorable stay. We couldn't resist a few drinks and games of pool in the inviting country bar downstairs, soaking in the local atmosphere. The Village Rooms are a gem we'll surely revisit, a perfect blend of comfort, convenience, and Irish hospitality.
